With Ozcart, you can set a default to the number of items that appear per page and set a default to the number of items that appear in the autocomplete dropdown.
Number of items per page
Here is how you can make your pages display more than 20 items per page by default (Products list page, Orders list page, Categories list page, and so on). E.g., this means that you can change the amount of default categories that appear on the categories page in the admin area.
- Navigate to Store Settings > General Settings > Options.
- In the Products tab, edit the "Default items per page (admin area)" setting by choosing your desired number.
- Save and you're all set!
To test and see how it works, go to Products > View Products (or Orders > View Orders, or Products > View Categories) and notice that you can now see another number of items, rather than 20, displayed on that page by default.
You can still change the number of items that should be displayed using the dropdown that appears on some pages, such as on the Products list page, which is found on the bottom left of those pages, but the next time you visit that page in the admin area, it will default to the setting chosen in your Store Settings' "Default items per page (admin area)" setting.
Number of items in autocomplete
This determines how many items to display, by default, in the autocomplete popup/dropdown (in the admin area). You can type to filter and view other results not currently visible when you initially click on a field. The list you initially see may not be the full list of items. It depends on the limit set. The list is displayed in alphabetical order. Here is how you can make your autocomplete dropdowns display more than 20 items by default.
- Navigate to Store Settings > General Settings > Options.
- In the Products tab, edit the "Default items in autocomplete dropdown (admin area)" setting by choosing your desired number.
- Save and you're all set!
To test and see how it works, go to Products > View Products, click on the field for Product Name and notice that a dropdown appears. It now displays up to the number of items you chose in the "Default items in autocomplete dropdown (admin area)" setting. You can type to filter and see other results that aren't visible when you initially click on it.
